About ARC Robotics
ARC Robotics creates unique hands-on engineering, business, and educational learning experiences for university students. The organization hosts annual robotics competitions and technical conferences, where teams from around the world gather to showcase their engineering skills in exciting robotics challenges, and share in-depth technical research.
Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and industry by equipping students with the technical and professional skills needed to thrive in the modern workforce.

Meet the ARC Robotics Operations team!

Director of Competition, Logistics and Procurement Lead
Natalie Hahn (She/Her)
Since stepping into leadership during the competition in 2023, Natalie has focused on making it more organized, accessible, and enjoyable for teams. She is committed to upholding competition fairness and building a strong, sustainable foundation for ARC's continued success. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, arts and crafts, and gaming with friends.

Director of Public Relations, Head of 3v3 Production, Sponsorship Manager
Shaur Kumar (She/Her)
Shaur makes robots, plays guitar, sings, dances, and likes to make and play video games in her free time. She also likes to run production for other events. She works at Lila Robotics as a Software Engineer, living and breathing the discipline because of a passion built from ARC!

Director of Events, Tournament Manager
Derek Wang (He/Him)
Derek likes wrenching on his car, skiing, mountain biking, and airsoft. At his day job, he's a Mechanical Engineer designing electromechanical actuators in the telecommunications industry. He continues to support RoboMaster, now ARC, as he credits it for landing him his dream job and allowing him to meet the love of his life. <3

Competition Bidding Manager
Shikuang Zhao (He/Him)
Outside of ARC, Shikuang greatly enjoys reading, especially fantasy and sci-fi. He also regularly plays a variety of games online with the other staff and friends, including League and Counterstrike. When out of the house, Shikuang enjoys trying out new restaurants in Seattle, sitting around at parks, and people watching.

Graphical Asset Manager
Zoe Samuels (She/They)
Outside of ARC, Zoe likes to play video games, watch movies, binge watch tv. She likes to play with friends, but really enjoys playing single-player games with strong narratives. For movies, they love horror, sci-fi, and dramas. They're also a big fan of sports, including basketball (Lakers) and Formula 1 (Ferrari).

ARC Technical Innovation Conference Manager
Michael Owens (He/Him)
Michael was a member of UC San Diego's Triton Robotics for 3 years, leading the hosting of RoboMaster North America 2025 in his final year as President, and writing the first proposal document for the ARC Technical Innovation Conference. He is currently a software engineer at Tesla.
